Ingredients:

  • 1 whole chicken (about 1.5–2 kg) or chicken pieces (thighs, drumsticks, or breasts)
  • 2 lemons (1 sliced, 1 juiced)
  • 4–5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh rosemary (or 1 tbsp dried)
  • 2 tbsp fresh thyme (or 1 tbsp dried)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup chicken broth or white wine (optional, for basting)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:
    Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Prepare the Chicken:
    Pat the chicken dry with paper towels. Place it in a roasting pan or baking dish.
  3. Make the Marinade:
    In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, rosemary, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
